We wanted to plug a few upcoming events happening in the next few months.

Thursday, May 18th, from 6-9PM:

Filmscape is hosting an event at Kinowerks in Ravenswood! This is a networking and education opportunity ahead of their main event in June at CineCity Studios.

If you haven't checked out this amazing non profit, their focus is to bring world-class education and manufacturers to the Chicago and Midwest film and television communities, completely for free.

Kinowerks, operated by Beeson Ventures LLC, is a full service production company, offering Pre-Production, Production, Post, and Rental services based in a 30,000 sq ft studio in the Edgewater/Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago. Formerly owned by renowned filmmakers Lana and Lilly Wachowski, the facility has a lot of amazing history! REGISTER HERE

Saturday, July 8th, from 1-4PM:

We are excited to partner again with our friends at Mainstage Chicago for a BBQ and Shorts party! We will be playing a 1 hour block of shorts in the studio on the cyc wall. If you would like to submit your short film, music video, abstract, trailer, or animation, please send it over to martinishotchicago@gmail.com for consideration! Please keep the submission under 10 minutes.
